Yashwant Rana, the founder of Earth Roots Ayurveda, was born in a village in the Tehri district of Uttarakhand state in 1979. After receiving his early education in the village, he came to Rishikesh to further his studies. He had a strong affinity for the village, and he often traveled back and forth, nurturing a deep connection with rural life.
He always had a keen interest in farming in his own fields, finding the village lifestyle to be incredibly simple and natural. Every produce from his fields was pure and unadulterated, offering immense benefits to the human body.
In today’s world, it’s rare to find anything in the market that is pure and without chemicals. This led him to contemplate how people could be provided with pure, chemical-free food and how Ayurveda could be employed for the well-being of individuals. With this objective in mind, he began his journey towards establishing Earth Roots Ayurveda.
Even today, when he visits he village, he loves to engage in activities like cultivating wheat, potatoes, and vegetables in his fields. This ensures that most people have access to pure food. At Earth Roots Ayurveda, all the guests are served vegetables and other produce grown in his field in the village. He brings wheat from his farm to grind it in the mill, so that the body receives the right nourishment.
Until today’s humankind reconnects with nature, one cannot imagine a healthy body and mind. Everyone must establish a connection with nature, and try not to consume packaged food and medicines loaded with chemicals that has side effects. In our forests, there are still millions of types of herbs that function like a panacea for the body.
Yashwant Rana is committed to providing this very boon of nature to his guests at Earth Roots Ayurveda, so that anyone who visits the therapy center recieves pure and natural food along with their treatment.
